Perich Eye Center on Cutting Edge of Client Service
The Eyewear Boutique is yet another addition/expansion of services that the Perich Eye Center/Zephyrhills Eye Institute has offered its patients. Recently the Eye Center announced a move into a larger facility, thanks to a burgeoning, satisfied client base.
The Eyewear Boutique is located inside the Zephyrhills Eye Institute, on 38921 Market Square Drive, directly in front of the Florida Medical Clinic.
“We have cared for people’s eyes for years,” said Dr. Larry Perich, an Ohio native who runs the multi-care institute, “so this just seemed like a natural progression in our practice.”
Industry observers say that today’s eye patients are much more proactive in caring for and about their vision, necessitating additional services/facilities to be provided by clinics who wish to stay ahead of the curve.
The Perich Eye Center/Zephyrhills Eye Institute moved into a new, 3,500 square-foot facility recently, which turned out to be big enough to also include the new optical shop.
Dr. Perich said the new boutique will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Those interested in finding out more are urged to call ( 813 ) 783-7819.
Confidence was expressed by Dr. Perich as he discussed the new optical shop and how it would help his practice’s patients.
“Convenience, number one,” he said. “It’s located literally inside our Zephyrhills institute, so that’s a huge benefit to our patients.”
Dr. Perich added that if traffic requires it, he’d consider opening the boutique on additional days as well.

ABOUT DR. LARRY PERICH
Dr. Larry Perich was born and raised in Warren, Ohio. After Graduation from Warren Western Reserve High School, Dr. Perich Attended the University of Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies Cum Laude with a major in Biochemistry and was awarded the Bachelor in Science Degree.
Dr. Perich continued his education at the Chicago College of Osteopathy where he received the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Perich completed a Rotating Internship at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida and participated in an Ophthalmic Basic Science Training Course at Herman Eye Center, University of Texas, and Houston. He then went on to become Resident of Ophthalmology at Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Perich is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and holds Professional Memberships in the AOA, The American Academy of Ophthalmology and OCOO.
Among Dr. Perichs numerous awards, he was presented a second-year award from Town and Country Medical Center for highest volume outpatient surgery performed. Recognized internationally as a leader in the field of excimer laser surgery, Dr. Perich is also a notable expert in no-stitch cataract surgery and development of new multi-focal intra ocular lens implants and cosmetic laser procedures.
In 1992, Dr. Perich appeared on international CNN television in a feature story. Later in the Year, WFLA Television presented Dr. Perich on their program called Health News.
